I died.

A little bit this morning.

I work out 5-6 days a week. This can be difficult since I work at 7:30 a.m. and put in 8-14 hour days, so I get up at 5 a.m. (also, very difficult).

I've been going to the gym across town and focusing on cardio since the New Year but I really needed to start toning up so I've been working out with Jillian Michael's dvd's. For the last 2 weeks I've done the 30 day shred a few times a week and love it mostly because it's a quick, 20-minute workout that's extremely effective. I decided to amp it up a bit and tried her 40 minute 'No More Trouble Zones' dvd this morning.

I can honestly say that I will probably be as sore tomorrow from this workout as I was after hiking 150 miles of the Appalachian Trail with my Dad for a week.

  2. It's only $9 on Amazon so it's a great deal! I also like that you can pick and choose and only do part of it if you can't fit in the full 40 min.

  3. I did a biggest loser workout once, I was sore for a week, and stairs were all but impossible. yesterday I got lost on my lunch walk, and ended up going 4 miles rather than the expected 1.5. Good luck with Jillian, she is crazy.

  5. I LOVE that DVD!! Well, it's a love/hate relationship actually, but it has done me a lot of good ;)
